What is it that makes the perfect Mother’s Day? Opinions will always differ; some want nothing more than breakfast in bed and a day off from looking after the kids, whilst others want thoughtful presents and a nice homemade meal. Here at CBC, we believe that the best gifts are the memories that we create with the people we love.

This Mother’s Day there are tons of amazing offers and activities happening right around the UK that will give you and your little ones memories to cherish. The best thing is, some activities offer FREE admission for Mother’s. We’ve lined up some of our favourite activities that are on offer this Mother’s Day. Throughout Mother’s Day weekend all mums go absolutely FREE with any full paying person. Gulliver’s World offer thrilling family rides, shows and attractions that are sure to keep your little ones entertained all day. Gully and the gang will also be on hand throughout the weekend to make sure all Mothers have the opportunity to create magical memories that they can treasure.

This offer is valid on Saturday 21st March and Sunday 22nd March only, during park opening hours which are 10.30am and 17:00pm. Adult and children’s tickets are priced at £18.

Mother’s Day at Drayton Manor

Drayton Manor Hotel is offering all Mum’s a mouth-watering two course Sunday lunch in their Parklands Restaurant. You and your loved ones will be able to have a gossip while feasting on traditional roast turkey or succulent beef, and for afters you can delve into a delicious dessert.

 

But, why not make a day of it! You and your little ones can enjoy some quality family time at Thomas Land, where you can experience their 25 rides and attractions. The 15 acre zoo is also something that is essential for your ‘To Do’ list. One parent will receive FREE entry, while general admission prices for adults are £19.95. Ticket for children aged between 2 and 12 are £11.95 and those aged under 2 are free.

Old Macdonald’s Farm and Fun Park in Brentwood are offering free tea and a slice of cake for all Mothers! You and the little ones can spend the whole day enjoying the family rides and petting the adorable farm animals. Though, you will also be able to get creative and made a beautifully scented bath bomb or a floral flower pot.

Tickets for adults are priced at £18.00 and children’s tickets are £17.00.

Mother’s Day Story Time

Waterstones in Manchester Arndale will be Mother's Day Story Time on Wednesday 18th March, between 10.30am and 11.30am. This is an activity specifically for Mothers and their toddlers, but the best thing is…it’s completely FREE! You will forever remember the look on your little ones face as they listen to the reading of much loved tales, such as Guess How Much I Love You.

Like most zoos around the country, Wingham Wildlife Park is offering all Mother’s free admission when accompanied by a paying child. The on door price for children is £16.00, but with this fee you will be able to stroll around the zoo and meet all of the amazingly inspiration animals, like Clarence and Brutus the Lions.

Alternatively, if you are based in the North West or just fancy a road trip. Chester Zoo are honouring all Mothers with a Sunday Lunch and a free glass of fizz. Here you will be able to meet all of the famous animals that you may have seen on the Channel 4 show The Secret Life of the Zoo.
