Stay Snug in the Snow

As the "Beast from the East" covers the UK in a blanket of snow we can't help but think about heading home and getting snug and warm. The snow has caused quite a bit of chaos this morning, with school closures, flight cancellations and road issues - I think its fair to say most of us deserve to head home tonight, get warm and stay snug with a hot chocolate.

Snow days can be super exciting for little ones, especially if it means a day off school. It's time to dig the sledge out of the shed and have some fun in the snow whilst you can. After the fun and games are over, here's some helpful tips to stay snug until the Beast from the East has blown over:

1- Snuggle down with a blanket, fluffy socks and a good film

2- Make sure you little one gets an early night - snow ball fights are tiring!

3- Invest in a comfortable bed for your little one - nothing says cosy more than big bed to jump into at night. If you have a smaller bedroom that you want to make more comfortable investing in our shorty beds may be a good idea.

4- Dust the board games off - there's no better way to keep your self entertained when its cold outside than to play a good old fashioned board game with the family.

5- Settle down with a bedtime story.

6 -Make super delicious hot chocolates - Go the whole hog with whipped cream and marshmallows!
